About

About Alcove

I've always loved finding something unexpected — the piece you didn't know you were looking for until you saw it. Maybe it's a beautiful jacket that feels like it was made for you, a piece of art you can't stop thinking about, or something wonderfully unusual that simply makes you smile.

That feeling of discovery is what inspired me to create Alcove Resale & Gallery.

I wanted to create a place where shopping feels less like searching through racks and more like exploring. A place filled with individual collections, interesting objects, beautiful clothing, original art, vintage finds, and things with stories still left to tell. You might come in looking for one thing and leave with something completely different — and I think that's part of the fun.

I also love the idea that wonderful things deserve more than one chapter. Something that has finished its story with one person may be exactly what someone else has been hoping to find. Alcove gives those pieces a place to be discovered again.

More than anything, I want Alcove to feel welcoming, creative, and a little bit unexpected. Inventory is always changing, so no two visits will ever be quite the same.

What a vendor mall is

Instead of one shop with one owner's taste, Alcove is dozens of small sellers, each renting their own closet or space and filling it themselves.

That's why the stock turns over so fast, and why no two visits are the same. You're not walking through one person's idea of what's good — you're walking through everybody's.

And room for local artists

The valley is full of people making work with nowhere to hang it. Alcove hangs it — original pieces around the store, for sale, with no monthly fee for the artist.
